Outline of Annual Research Achievements

2020年度は、第一に、森田療法と内観療法における「空」と「無」の役割について、文献研究ならびにインタビューを通してさらに踏み込んだ研究を行った。この方向では、2020年8月に奈良内観センターを訪問し、内観療法の専門家である千石真理氏ならびに真栄城輝明氏にインタビューを行った。また、2020年10月には、高良興生院森田療法関連資料保存会を訪問し、関連資料の閲覧と関係者へのインタビューを行った。
第二に、いわゆる京都学派の主要な哲学者たち、西田幾多郎、田辺元、西谷啓治の哲学がもつ実践的な側面について、文献研究をさらに進めるとともに、専門研究者との情報交換・研究討論を行った。この方向では、2020年10月に石原悠子・立命館大学准教授と京都学派の哲学とマインドフルネスをめぐって意見交換・情報交換・研究討論を行った。さらに、同じく2020年10月、上原麻有子・京都大学教授と面談し、京都学派の哲学と自己変容の可能性をめぐって情報交換・意見交換を行った。
第三に、現代フランス哲学と日本哲学との関係について踏み込んだ検討を行った。とりわけ「空」と「無」の概念が現代フランス哲学でどのように扱われており、それがどのような点で近代日本哲学における「空」および「無」の概念との交差を示しているのかを研究した。この方向では、2020年9月に現代フランス哲学の専門研究者である村山達也・東北大学准教授を訪問し、日本哲学とフランス哲学との関係に関して重要な情報を得ると同時に、意見交換・討論を通してこの分野についての理解を深めることができた。
第四に、ハンガリー・セゲド大学の医学部神経学教室のグループと共同研究を進め、実存的・現象学的心理療法と神経学的研究との交差領域に見られる新しい可能性について、レビュー論文を発表することができた。
