Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this study, we developed a web application to create a cyberspace German learning environment called "Platzwit neu". The novelty of this research can be summarized in the following two points: The first is a review of the categories of competence for learning a foreign language and their new meaning. The act of writing itself in daily life has become more common due to the diversification and expansion of online. The skills to be acquired through conventional writing learning are increasingly differentiated from the skills learners need to write in their daily lives. By exploring this point, we have made the learning of new language skills explicit. The second point is that this has been implemented in practice as an autonomous learning environment model.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

言語教育に於て学習者が実体験を通して自らの知識を再構築する学習コンセプトはICTを利用した授業実践等で既に多くの試みがなされている. 教室内という実空間, 教室と連動するサイバー空間, 教室外の実空間, に於る学習環境で捉えた従来の学習環境と異なり, 教室環境を離れた日常におけるサイバー空間等での状況依存型の学習支援環境の実現が本研究の意義である.日常行動で重要度を増すサイバー空間に於て学習者が作成する学習言語テキストの自動収集・分析システムを開発し,実空間とサイバー空間の全領域における学びを統合した "4D外国語学習環境"を実現した.これは日常の中に体系化された言語学習環境の提供を意味する.
