Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Toward sustainable energy society, advanced electrode materials are necessary for Li-ion batteries with higher energy density. In this subject, innovative and metastable materials have been synthesized and evaluated as potential high capacity electrode materials. Metastable materials found in this subject deliver large reversible capacities as electrode materials, leading to the development of advanced Li-ion batteries in the future.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
リチウムイオン電池を搭載した電気自動車の市場が世界中で拡大を続けている。また、再生可能エネルギーとしての太陽光発電の低コスト化が進んでおり、自然エネルギーのさらなる活用と脱炭素社会の構築が求められている。そのためには蓄電池の高性能化が求めれており、本研究課題では、蓄電池の高性能化に繋がる準安定相材料の研究成果が得られており、これは、将来的な電気自動車の高機能化と脱炭素社会の実現に大きく貢献することが期待できる。
