Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aims at appropriate analysis and evaluation of the effectiveness of cancer screening by constructing a mathematical model of cancer screening using theoretical epidemiological methods. In particular, we will consider cases such as cervical cancer where viral infection and vaccination as a preventive measure affect the morbidity of cancer. Therefore, in this study, we collected related data on cervical cancer and HPV vaccination, created a simulation model of infection and cancer morbidity by age group, and performed the simulation of cancer screening and vaccine under various settings. The effect of implementing vaccination measures was evaluated.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
