Outline of Annual Research Achievements

最終年度は新型コロナウイルス等の事由で2回延長を行い、その間に以下のように研究成果の発表や個々のテーマについての事例研究を発展させることができた。
2020年度に行った国際開発学会全国大会での企画セッションでの研究報告をふまえて、『国際開発研究』第30巻2号にて科研メンバー4名による特集「越境的実践がつむぐガバナンス―持続可能性課題の協働解決に向けて」を企画し、序論ほか、日本の災害対応に見るコーディネーターの役割、インドネシア農村ガバナンスにおける文脈依存的な越境性、中国貴州省ミャオ族の文化の継承に見る橋渡し人の役割、中国の環境汚染問題をめぐるフィールドワークに見る越境的協働実践のダイナミズムに関する事例研究論文を発表した。
前年度から引き続きオンラインでの研究会の開催と講師ヒアリングを行い、研究会ではこれまでの成果論文や議論をもとに「協働現場」をキーワードにして研究者だけでなく広く越境的な実践に関心を持つ実務家や学生などをターゲットにした和文書籍の出版企画について検討を行った。講師としてはNPO法人ひずるしい鎮玉代表の廣瀬稔也氏から「持続可能な地域社会づくりに向けた協働実践の経験」について報告いただいた。
新型コロナウイルスパンデミックのため延期になっていた海外調査については2021年度にインドネシア調査を行うことができた。また中国調査については現地カウンターパートとの調整がつかず実施できなかったが、補足的にオンラインでの意見交換や資料収集を行った。
そのほか、メコン地域の開発と資源・環境問題をめぐる研究者とNGOを中心とした国際的な対話会議「メコンダイアログ」の実践、人間・動物・環境の健康・健全性に統合的にアプローチする「ワンヘルス」の研究などを通して、越境的実践の諸相について考察を深めることができた。
