Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本年度は、前年度に明治大学の野崎雄太氏・理化学研究所の谷口正樹氏との共同研究によって構成した、ホモロジー３球面のホモロジー同境不変量r_sについて新たな成果を得た。具体的には、セントルイス・ワシントン大学のAliakbar Daemi氏と谷口氏との共同研究によって、フィルター付きインスタントンFloer鎖複体の間に「ν+同値」を模した同値関係を導入し、その同値関係によって定まる商集合がホモロジー同境群のある商群と同一視できることを証明した。これはまさに、インスタントンFloer理論におけるC[ν+]の類似物ということができる。
さらにその応用として、前年度に構成した不変量r_sとDaemi氏の不変量Γ(n)を同時に一般化したホモロジー同境不変量の族J(n,s)の構成に成功した。また、別の応用として、一般のザイフェルト多様体に対するΓ(1)の計算手法の確立や、２つのザイフェルト多様体に対するΓ(n)の連結和公式を与えることにも成功している。これらの成果の基礎となる不変量r_sについては、マサチューセッツ工科大学のオンラインセミナー「MIT Geometry and Topology seminar」において口頭発表を行った。
また、上述の一連の研究の基礎付けとなった、定値交差形式をもつ単連結４次元多様体を境界に持たない有理ホモロジー３球面の族を与える成果をまとめた論文が、トポロジーの国際誌「Algebraic & Geometric Topology」に掲載された。
