Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本年度は、「超フレキシブル有機太陽電池の水安定性向上と光脈波センサへの応用」という題目で博士論文を執筆し、最終審査を行い、博士(工学)の学位を取得した。さらに、理化学研究所にて行った太陽電池の光安定性に関する研究は、共著としてAdvanced Materialsに採択された。東京大学では、有機光トランジスタのオフ電流低減についての研究が共著としてACS Applied Electric Materialsに採択された。さらに、心電計測デバイスとして注目されている有機電気化学トランジスタを研究した内容は、共著にて2019 International Conference on Flexible and Printed Electronicsにて発表された。本年度の実験では、有機フォトダイオードと有機ダブルゲートトランジスタによるインバータを組み合わせた増幅器内蔵型イメージャの作製・評価を行った。。ガラス基板上へ作製されたダブルゲートインバータと有機フォトダイオードを組み合わせることで、増幅率70という高い光検出感度を持つ増幅器内蔵型イメージャ回路の実証を行なった。さらに、作製した増幅器内蔵型イメージャを用いて、室内光を用いた脈は検出を行なった。有機フォトダイオード単体では、100 μV程度の小さい光脈波信号しか検出できなかった一方、ダブルゲートインバータと組み合わせることで、40 mV程度の非常に大きなピーク信号幅を持つ光脈波信号の検出に成功した。今回作製された増幅器内蔵型イメージャは、ダブルゲート電圧によって広い光強度範囲の入射光に対する応答が可能である。そのため、室内光のような比較的暗い環境だけでなく、室外の太陽光下においても十分増幅された出力電圧を得ることができる。本研究では、様々な光環境において周囲光を用いた光信号検出が可能な増幅器内蔵型イメージャの実証に成功した。
