Outline of Annual Research Achievements

量子場などの相対論的対象についての量子情報的物理学の研究分野である相対論的量子情報の分野では、Unruh-DeWitt(UdW)測定器模型と呼ばれるものが頻繁に用いられる。この模型では、第一量子化された系(測定器)と量子場との相互作用により、量子場の性質を測定器によって間接的に調べ、また測定器の情報を量子場に書き込むことができる。
本研究では、曲がった時空におけるUdW測定器のダイナミクスの新しい双対性を発見した。応用例として量子場から量子もつれを取り出すプロトコルの解析を行い、共形変換で繋がりあう無限個の異なる時空において取り出せる量子もつれの量が同じになることを示した。
また、量子場を介した通信における受信機・送信機をUdW測定器でモデル化することで、量子場を介した通信プロトコルの解析も行った。前年度の研究を更に発展させ、本研究では量子場中の非局所相関に記憶された情報のキャリア(量子情報カプセルと呼ぶ)を同定する公式を発見した。また、この解析を通して非局所的な相関を利用して情報の伝達効率を向上させる新しい通信プロトコルを発見した。
系の可換測量の測定値を調べることで、二つの異なる状態を区別することができる。すなわち、二つの状態における可換測量の期待値の差を、状態を区別する操作におけるシグナルとみなすことができる。一方で、量子力学においては一般に不可避的な確率的な揺らぎがあり、これらはノイズとして働きうる。この研究ではふたつの状態における可換測量の分散の和をノイズと定義し、状態の区別可能性において重要な役割を果たすシグナル-ノイズ比に着目した。量子情報理論において頻繁に用いられる状態の「近さ」の指標である忠実度という量を用い、任意の可換測量に対して成り立つシグナル-ノイズ比の上限を与える不等式を証明した。この不等式は先行研究において示されていた不等式よりもタイトである。
