Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究では、光アップコンバージョン材料とナノアンテナを組み合わせ、ナノスケールで電磁場のエンジニアリングを行うことによる変換効率向上を目的としている。本年度は、主に以下の研究に取り組んだ。
1) アルミニウムナノアンテナ:昨年度までに形成したアルミニウムナノアンテナについて性能評価を行った.明確なアップコンバージョン増強は実現できなかったが,数値計算等を用いることで,その原因を一定の範囲で特定した.また,上述の数値解析においては,多重極展開法に基づく解析プロセス・プログラムが付随的な成果として得られた.これに関し,現在論文が査読中であるのに加え,開発したプログラムをオープンソースとしてパブリックリポジトリ上で公開している.
2) 新規ナノアンテナ構造の提案:1の結果を踏まえ,金属薄膜・半導体細線ハイブリッド構造やメタサーフェス構造等,発光増強が期待できる新たな構造を提案した.実験・計算の両面から,これら新規構造の発光増強基板としてのポテンシャルを検討し,ギャップ効果等によって優れた発光制御性能を有することを明らかにした.
3) 指向性制御:単一のサブ波長構造体の指向性を評価するため,散乱・発光の角度・波長・偏光情報を実験的に得ることができる顕微分光システムを構築した.実際に指向性ナノアンテナについて測定を行い,14倍の指向性を実証した.
これらを中心とし,本年度は筆頭著者で4報,計7報の論文として研究成果を発表した(Preprint含む).
