Outline of Annual Research Achievements

球や円形に波が全反射を繰り返すことにより閉じ込められる現象をWhispering Gallery Mode（WGM）と呼ぶが、スピン波はスピンの歳差運動の情報を伝播する波として同じ効果が存在すると期待されています。本研究では磁性薄膜の円盤の壁に伝わる静磁表面スピン波（MSSW）のWGMに着目しました。しかし、WGMを発生させるには、スピン波の波長から円盤の円周の長さを計算し円盤を設計する必要があるため、円盤の壁に伝わるMSSWの分散関係が必要であるが、こういったMSSWの分散関係を調査した報告は少なかったです。そこで、今年度ではスピン波のWGMに向けてマイクロマグネティックシミュレーションを用いてフェリー磁性体薄膜の外周に伝わるスピン波について調査し、分散関係を確立しました。
