Outline of Annual Research Achievements

令和三年度は、「大規模構造と銀河進化の関係」について注力し研究を進めた。この課題では大規模空間中の Lyα 光子の放射機構も議論するため、本研究課題の中の「大規模空間中の Lyα 光子の調査」と密接に関係している。この課題では、観測データをもとに、銀河の成長過程 (進化) とダークマターの大規模な密度分布である大規模構造との関係を調査した。銀河は、大規模構造の中の密度が高い領域で生まれ、大規模構造中の各環境 (低密度から、ボイド、シート、フィラメント、ノード) に依存して異なる進化過程を経る可能性があることが指摘されている (銀河進化の環境効果)。観測的な環境効果の研究では、広い天域に存在する銀河を網羅的に分光観測し、大規模構造を推定する。そのため、広い天域の銀河の分光データが必要となり、結果、これまでの多くの環境効果の研究は、銀河の分光観測が盛んに行われている現在から近傍の宇宙に限定されている。しかし近年、天域を限定し、遠方宇宙に存在する銀河を網羅的に分光観測するプロジェクトが進行しており、こうしたプロジェクトで取得された分光データを用いた大規模構造の再現データの生成も行われている。本研究では、この再現データをもとに大規模構造の環境と各環境に属する銀河の物理的性質の関係を徹底調査した。また、銀河の成長段階によって発現する物理的性質毎に銀河を分類し、銀河の成長段階と大規模構造の環境の依存性を調査した。本年度中に結果がまとまったため、現在投稿論文を準備している。
