| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
As a result of this research, regarding the Fuzoku-uta in the Heian period court songs, there are groups of song scores formed according to each period in the Heian period and the Kamakura period. So it became clear that some of the Fuzoku-uta songs were left as old manuscripts, and some of others left as manuscript of musicians until the Edo period, and that there were other lines of lyrics copied from old manuscripts by scholars of Kokugaku in the Edo period. Furthermore, it became clear how they were selected in the 30's of the Showa era and compiled into the Iwanami Koten Bungaku Taikei "Kodai Kayo-shu". Also, in the Monogatari literature of the Heian period, it became clear that the Fuzoku-uta functioned as a text suggesting a remote region .

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
従来神楽歌や催馬楽に比べて風俗歌・東遊歌のテキストがどのように形成されたかは明白ではなかったにもかかわらず、昭和３２年の岩波古典文学大系『古代歌謡集』に示された「風俗歌・東遊歌」がテキストの典型として扱われ、疑われることがなかった。しかし、文芸的な１種類のテキストとして示されることで、歌謡本来の、音楽性や表現の場による可塑性や流動性が失われてしまった可能性もあり、また時代による表現の位相の違いがあったことも隠されてしまった可能性がある。
本研究はその可能性の一端を、歴史的な変化の相と、音楽的側面からの変容と、物語文学に引用された表現の相から示すことができた。
