| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this research, we conducted classroom practices focusing on the theme of achieving a peaceful world, based on the principles of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). We examined the developmental processes and factors related to language proficiency, content comprehension, critical thinking, cooperation/intercultural understanding among second language (L2) learners.
Furthermore, we analyzed teacher scaffolding and feedback, and explored flexible assessment methods. Based on these findings, we developed and published CLIL teaching materials and a guidebook for teachers as specific educational support measures for Japanese language education.Moreover, we conducted numerous lectures and teacher training programs both domestically and internationally, aiming to provide assistance in implementing CLIL practices effectively.

本研究は、CLILを通じて言語習得だけでなく、内容理解や思考力の発展、異文化理解の促進を図ることで、より豊かな学習体験が提供し得る可能性を示した。
さらに、教師向けの教育支援や教材開発を行ったことにより、CLILの認知度を高め、CLILの実践をより効果的に行うための手助けを提供した。
この成果は学術的にも社会的にも重要であり、言語教育の可能性を拡げ、平和な社会への構築へ貢献することができた。
