Outline of Final Research Achievements

We believe there are three reasons why CEFR works as a basis for constructing personalized learning goals. First, CEFR is a personal framework. Second, CEFR is an open-ended framework. Third, CEFR is universal.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

日本ではヨーロッパ言語共通参照枠CEFRの指標は英語指導者のためのものであることが多いが、本研究では英語学習者の活用を提案した点が最大の意義である。CEFRは大学入学に求められる英語能力の目安だけであってはならない。大学生がCEFRをもとに学習の目標や計画をたてて自分自身のために生涯にわたって英語を学び続けるきっかけづくりのひとつのモデル授業を提案することができた。
