| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Against the background of this research, there are multiple forms of regulation to which have been paid more attention, such as (1)legal regulation, (2)regulation by competition, (3)social norms, (4)regulation by architecture. While analyzing the interaction between them and its significance, this research has been focused on the interaction between (3) and (4), which is called community-regenerative approach through architectural regulation. A example of such type of regulation is ‘Action Plan for Realizing a Crime-Resistant Society' suggested and implemented by the government of Japan, and my research has captured it as theoretical framework and made clear its significance and limits.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
①環境的アプローチの中で個別犯罪対策型と共同体再生型の区別を明瞭にする。日本の犯罪予防対策を批判する議論の中では、しばしば、これら二つが混同されて批判されているところがあった。しかし、本研究で二つの区別を明瞭にするとともに、混同した批判がの問題性を指摘した。
②背景にあるのは「規制手法の多様化」である、犯罪予防の文脈を超えて、この多様化を明瞭にする理論的枠組みを形成し、また、その実践的意義を明らかにした。
③コロナ禍の規制手法がまさに多様な規制を利用するものであったことから、（２）で形成した理論的枠組みをコロナ禍の規制に応用して分析をし、その意義と限界を明らかにした。
