Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we proposed a Work-Life Balance Sheet (WLBS) as a tool for quantitatively measuring an individual's work-life balance and a Work-Life Balance Portfolio (WLBP) as a visualization of them. We also verified their validity and effectiveness. As a result, it will be possible to quantitatively grasp not only the conventional evaluation from productivity and satisfaction but also the change in individual work-life balance for the work style reform measures taken by organizations such as companies.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
学術的な意義に関しては,ワークライフバランス研究が従来ケーススタディを中心とした定性的なアプローチが主流であったことに対して,労働経済学のタイムマネジメントの考え方と会計学における貸借関係の記述方法(貸借対照表)を応用した定量的アプローチを確立できたことが挙げられる. 定量的なアプローチが確立できたことで,職場におけるWLBの数値目標の設定や,働き方改革実施策の評価,個人のWLBに関するカウンセリングなどが行えるようになり,社会的意義は非常に大きいものと考える.
