Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study was to understand the damage to condominiums and the recovery process, and to examine the issues involved. The issues involved in determining a rehabilitation policy for cases of large-scale damage are summarized.Interviews were then conducted with cases where restoration work had been performed, and the issues leading up to the policy decision were summarized. The importance of cost and early involvement with specialists was evident. Finally, the report clarified the problems caused by construction and earthquake preparedness that became apparent after a certain amount of time had passed since the earthquake.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
