| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study is to develop a core curriculum for information education that can be used in public elementary schools.
First, the indicators of information utilization ability can be organized into four categories, "basic operations, etc.", "information utilization in problem solving / inquiry", "programming", and "information morals / information security", and incorporated into the curriculum. It was.Regarding programming education, we have developed a basic curriculum that allows students to learn basic skills in 1 to 2 hours a year, and then use those skills to study for 1 to 2 hours in a unit such as a subject.Furthermore, we have developed a curriculum centered on the textbook unit of the Japanese language department so that we can systematically develop the ability to utilize information.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究は，公立小学校において活用できる情報教育コアカリキュラムを開発することを目的としたものである。
開発されたカリキュラムは、国語科を柱として情報活用能力の基盤を育てながら、他の教科等に応用・発展させていくものであり、多くの公立小学校でも活用できる内容になっている。実際に熊本市のモデル校で実証しており、学年が上がるに従って技能の積み上げができるようになっている。なお、本カリキュラムは、熊本市教育センターのWebサイト(http://www.kumamoto-kmm.ed.jp)に解説の動画付きで掲載されている。
