Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study was to clarify the contents of the curriculum aiming at "consumer citizen development" in teacher training university. We practiced a curriculum aimed at consumer citizens, mainly targeting junior high school students, high school students, and universities. A questionnaire survey was conducted targeting teachers at teacher training colleges. As a result, it became clear that not only financial and economic education but also work-life balance, career education, and traditional culture are involved in fostering consumer citizenship. It became clear that it is important to practice from various viewpoints in the future.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
消費者教育推進法では、「消費者市民」は「悪質な事業者を市場から駆逐したり、環境配慮型の商品やフェアトレード商品の選択をするなど、消費者の社会的影響力によって持続可能な社会の実現」すると定義されている。また、近年は金融経済教育が注目されている。その中にあって、本研究は、消費者市民はお金や環境といったものだけでなく、キャリア、ワークライフバランス、防災教育、伝統文化な多くの視点から進めることができることを示した点に社会的意義がある。
