| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The main research results in this research are the following three points.
The first point is that, as a characteristic of changes in sociality during the elementary and junior high school years, sociality tends to be higher when advancing to the next grade, while it tends to lower significantly when entering junior high school.The second point is that children who were less social in elementary school tend to improve more in junior high school.The third point is that it became clear that it is not easy to support developmental student guidance in the management cycle.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究の主な意義は、次の３点である。
１点目は、児童生徒の社会性の変容状況を把握するために、複数年にわたって長期的に実施した調査が少ない中、本研究においては、公立小・中学校に在籍する児童生徒を対象に実施した調査により、小学校高学年の時期から中学校卒業時までの社会性の変化の概要を、出身小学校別に明らかにすることができたことである。２点目は、得られたデータを基に、中学校入学時や進級時の対応策について検討することができたことである。３点目はマネジメントサイクルで進める発達支持的な生徒指導の困難性を把握できたことである。
