Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study attempted to investigate the effect of peer supporters on the treatment of anorexia nervosa (AN) through the effects of group therapy in collaboration with peer supporters on AN patients. However, the number of AN patients who consented to the study was extremely small, and it was difficult to gather enough subjects to examine the effects. Consent for this study was obtained from 10 subjects during the study period, of which 6 dropped out early. Two subjects of the remaining four have completed group therapy, and the remaining two are continuing. On the other hand, when the same group therapy was performed in the form of a single session and participants suffering from eating disorders were gathered by open recruitment, many applications were received, and the participants were shown a certain effect and were highly satisfied.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
