Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The aim of this study was to investigate the retrieval induced forgetting (RIF) in mice. Modified spontaneous object recognition test was used in this study. Mice showed RIF irrespective of sex and age. In addition, the present study founed that RIF continued for a limited period of time. Analysis of c-fos messenger RNA expression suggested that prefrontal and perirhinal cortex may be involved in RIF.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
