Outline of Final Research Achievements

In a joint work with Masanori Asakura (Hokkaido University), we had a numerical verification of p-adic Beilinson conjecture for some specific elliptic curves. Moreover, we proved p-adic Beilinson conjecture for an elliptic curve. In a joint work with Ming-Lun Hsieh (National Taiwan University), we proved an analogue of Gross' conjecture for imaginary quadratic fields under certain conditions. Furthermore, we succeeded to construct a p-adic L-functions using Shimura curves over totally real fields and prove a p-adic Gross-Zagier formula in a joint work with Ming-Lun Hsieh. We also give a result on the comparison of periods associated to elliptic modular forms.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

L関数の特殊値は整数論において非常に興味深い研究対象であり,整数論において様々な重要な問題と深く結びついている.p進Beilinson予想はp進L関数の特殊値とp進regulatorの関係を記述する基本的で重要な予想であるが,証明されている例はほとんどなく,今回の研究で,この予想を楕円曲線の場合に数値的に確かめる手法を確立することができたのはp進L関数の特殊値の研究において,価値があると考えられる.また,Gross予想はp進L関数の特殊値と単数の関係を明らかにするものであるが,今回虚二次体の場合に保型形式の合同を用いてGross予想を考察したのは今後の新しい研究の方向性を与えるものである.
