Outline of Annual Research Achievements

量子ブラックホールの解析を行うにあたり、ゲージ重力対応を用いて、ブラックホールの特性をlarge Nゲージ理論から行う。重力理論の非摂動に定義を我々は知らないが、large N ゲージ理論は非摂動に定義することが可能なので、large Nゲージ理論の特性からブラックホールの物理を読み解く。

研究代表が昔提案したゲージ理論のトイモデルであるIP行列模型は、随伴表現、すなわち行列成分をもつ調和振動子と基本表現、すなわちベクトル成分をもつ調和振動子からなる単純なlarge Nの量子力学模型であるにもかかわらず、高温度で熱化と情報損失というAdSブラックホールの重要な徴候を示す。このことから、IPモデルはAdSブラックホールのlarge N ゲージ理論のトイモデルであるとも言える。このモデルに近年その理解が進んでいる、Krylov複雑性の概念を応用した研究を行った。Krylov複雑性は、量子力学系の演算子がどのぐらい早くHilbert空間内で広がっていくかを表す一つの指標である。ブラックホールはあらゆる演算子が非常に早く広がっていくカオス的な状態だと考えられている。解析の結果、IPモデルでのKrylov複雑度は指数関数的に増大することが明らかになった。現在知られている限りにおいて、Krylov複雑性の指数関数的増加をlarge Nゲージ理論、あるいは行列の量子力学系で具体的に導出した結果は、世界初である。これらはIPモデルが十分に高温の領域で、ブラックホールと同じくカオス的であることを示している。同時にKrylov複雑性の指数増加は、IPモデルのスペクトラムが連続的になる温度で生じ、スペクトラムが離散的な温度ではKrylov複雑性は指数増加しない。このことからKrylov複雑性が閉じ込め/非閉じ込めのオーダーパラメータであることを示唆する。

これに加えて、de Stter時空の量子複雑性の解析、SYKモデルとsparseランダム行列の解析の成果がある。

Reason

近年発展したKrylov複雑性を行列模型に適用でき、Krylov複雑性が指数増加するのを具体的に示すことができたのは非常に満足できる進展であった。さらに言うならば、具体的な量子力学系でKrylov複雑性が指数増加するのを示したのは世界初である。同時にKrylov複雑性の指数増加は、IPモデルのスペクトラムが連続的になる温度で生じ、スペクトラムが離散的な温度ではKrylov複雑性は指数増加しない。このことからKrylov複雑性が閉じ込め/非閉じ込めのオーダーパラメータであることを解析した論文を雑誌に投稿中である。同時に非時間順序相関関数というカオスの昔から知られているオーダーパラメーターも数値的に計算して論文に投稿中である。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

本課題の総仕上げとして、上述の論文を仕上げると共に、ブラックホールとKrylov複雑性、閉じ込め/非閉じ込め相転移の対応をより明らかにする。
