Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Cellulose microfibril is one of main components of plant cell wall. CELLULOSE SYNTHASE A (CESA) plays a role of biosynthesis of cellulose on the plasma membrane. In this study, we analyzed a candidate factor in order to elucidate how CESA can be localized to the plasma membrane. Our results suggest that the factor would regulate subcellular localization of CESA via protein-protein interaction.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
