Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Diels-Alder reaction, the cycloaddition of diene with dienophile leading to six-membered ring, is recognized as one of the most important reaction in synthetic organic chemistry. In this project, we developed dearomative Diels-Alder reactions of naphthalenes and thiophenes as dienes with unactivated alkynes as dienophiles.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
