Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we measured the movement of the gaze, pursuit, and switching tasks using a gaze measuring device (Gazefinder), and verified the visual task and visual function that can discriminate developmental coordination disorder (DCD). Gazes of 380 participants in the five-year-old checkup were measured by Gazefinder. We create a new video from the analysis results, and the preliminary analysis of 69 5-year-old children was performed on eye movement, which is one of the internal model disorders. In the video of the target moving from bottom to top at low speed and high speed in the pursuit task, the time to visual recognition was significantly negatively correlated with the score of the motor test MABC-2 (p <0.05). In addition, this phenomenon was more remarkable under high speed conditions than under low speed conditions (p <0.05). The final analysis is underway.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
