Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We developed the 3D sim-Navigator with E-field for malignant liver tumors, and developed a locoregional therapy technique using this function. The aim of this study was to establish a foundation for remote treatment by the conferences with other hospitals member through the VPN. First, we confirmed that the ablation area was correlated with low density area of CT accurately. Although it was extremely difficult to establish a network in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, we were able to use ICT through VPN connections with 30 hospitals. As a result, we were able to establish a foundation for remote medical care. In the future, we plan to use this system to build a treatment system in which many doctors can participate.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
