Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We have developped navigation systems using augmented reality (AR) on smartphones and headmounted displaies for interventional radiology procedures. 3D images reconstructed from CT images or a virtual protractor which is prepared in advance are displayed on the body surface by using various registration methods. Accurate needle puncture becomes possible by using these navigation systems.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
