Outline of Final Research Achievements |
End to side (ETS) neurorrhaphy has been used as an option for an axonal provider. In this study, we investigated whether ETS neurorrhaphy could be a useful technique as a Schwann cell (SCs) provider in Artificial Nerve (AN) in vivo. The sciatic nerve with axon fluorescent of 8-12 weeks Thy1-GFP rats were used for this study. From our in vivo study, End to Side neurorrhaphy, which is used as a axonal provider, could be useful as a Schwann cell provider to support axonal elongation in Artificial nerve.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
