Our study elucidated a part of mechanism of pain-relief by transplanting endothelial progenitor cells to critical limb ischemia patients.

世界的な糖尿病罹患率の増加に伴い、重症下肢虚血患者数も増加しており、動物モデルの確立及び、患者QOLを著しく低下させる間性疼痛の軽減メカニズムの解明は、学術的にも社会的にも意義があるものである。
