| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Regarding skill type identification, the results of a study targeting nursing students were published in the Journal of the Japan Academy of Nursing Education in March 2019.We initially planned to investigate work performance skills through interviews, but changed to a questionnaire survey, and published the results of the differences in perceptions of nursing practice knowledge between experienced and inexperienced nurses in the JAPAN JOURNAL OF NURSING SCIENCE in March 2021. A study on the characteristics of nurses' non-technical skills and the influence of employment status was published in the Journal of the Japan Society for Educational Research in March 2023.We presented our findings on the explanation skills required of nurses at the Japan Academy of Nursing Science Annual Meeting in December 2023. At the Japan Society of Clinical Safety in April 2024, we presented that poor explanation skills of nurses can lead to incidents.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
今回、学生を対象とした調査ではあるが、コミュニケーション・スキルのタイプの特定について、示唆を与えるものと評価する。また、看護師を対象としたアンケート調査において、看護師の看護実践知を同定した結果、熟達看護師と熟達前看護師に差異がみられたことは、今後の新人看護師教育においても有効活用できるものだと考える。更に、総合病院に勤務する看護職を対象にアンケート調査を行った結果、患者への説明者である看護師の説明スキルの低さがディスコミュニケーションを招き、結果としてインシデントが誘発されることを明らかにしたことは、医療安全においてもコミュニケーション・スキルの重要性が示唆された。
