| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aimed to develop the peer support program for young breast cancer patients in their daily lives while continuing treatment.
Cancer patients were empowered to live positively with their cancer through peer support. Young breast cancer patients wanted peer supporters to be able to support tailored to their lifestyles. Based on these results, we examined the components of the support program for young breast cancer patients and worked to construction of the program.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究は、若年乳がん患者の療養生活を支援するサポートプログラムを構築することを目的とした。若年女性がん患者とがんピアサポーター両者の経験を基にしたプログラムを構築することにより、両者の実態に即した支援が可能となる。また、ピアサポーターと看護師の協働型プログラムとすることで、ピアによる情緒的支援や看護師による情報の提供が可能となり、多様な問題を抱える若年乳がん患者を包括的に支援することができる。
