| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study was to develop a basic education model for labor pain relief care, based on the formation of a community of practice among midwives regarding palliative care of labor pain in Morocco. A comparison was made before and after the training for 74 midwifery students. After the training, students had a positive view of labor pain relief care, believed they could cope with labor pain, and actually sought out care that suited parturient women, increasing the frequency of non-pharmacological methods of reducing pain such as massage. It was suggested that training in caring for parturient women before childbirth assistance training ensures time to devote to care and increases experience. It was suggested that the lack of knowledge and experience of faculty members, the awareness of care by clinical instructors, and geographical conditions affect students' acquisition of care, suggesting the need for the development of educational tools using digital technology.

助産師による産痛緩和ケア実践の文化を持たない国において、実践コミュニティの概念を用いて助産師学生の産痛緩和ケア習得への教育効果と学習に関係するコミュニティの影響を明らかにし、教育モデルを開発した点に学術的意義がある。
助産師学生は実習時間に産婦のケアに専念でき、産痛緩和ケアの重要性を体感し、産婦一人一人に合わせたケアを実施することの実際と具体を学んだ。将来のケア文化創出者として期待でき、このことはモロッコにおけるケアパラダイムの転換と女性の出産体験がより肯定的なものになるよう支援する者としての助産師としての役割獲得の一助となることが社会的意義である。
