Outline of Final Research Achievements	As a result of a survey on the actual status of family participation during painful procedures such as blood sampling and intravenous drip infusion, almost half of the pediatric clinics implemented family participation. As a result of the analysis of the current status of family participation, problems and issues in implementing family participation during procedures were extracted. Six nurses from hospitals and clinics that implement family participation were interviewed about their practices and possible solutions to these problems and issues, leading to the creation of a guideline line for painful procedures such as blood sampling and intravenous drip infusion. The guideline items included criteria for determining family participation, explanations for the child and family, measures to address at-risk problems that may occur during family participation, and issues that should be addressed when family participation is introduced.
Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements	わが国で「児童の権利に関する条約」が批准後、子どもと家族の権利を尊重した看護を実践として、検査や処置を受ける子どもに対するプレパレ―ションが普及した。しかし、採血や点滴などの痛みを伴う処置時の家族参加は2015年に行った調査では家族が参加している病棟の割合は1割と子どもと家族を主体とした処置時の家族参加の選択がプレパレ―ションのように普及していない現状があった。「子どもと家族との分離の禁止」は、検査や処置時においても子どもがもつ権利として医療者が保障することが求められる。そのため、採血や点滴などの痛みを伴う処置時の家族参加は、子どもの権利として看護職が取り組む研究課題といえる。
