Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we conducted the following steps to develop a program to support the establishment of an initial response system in the event of a radiation disaster at a disaster base hospital. Study1: Development of a standard to assess factors affecting awareness of nurses in initial response to nuclear/radiation disasters.The aim of this study was to establish a standard for evaluating factors affecting awareness of nurses in initial response to nuclear/radiation disasters and to examine its reliability and validity. Study2: Factors affecting intention and behavior of nurses in initial response to radiation accident/disaster. The objective of this paper was to study the relationship of intention and behavior of nurses in initial response to radiation accidents/disasters and to identify factors that affect their intention and behavior. Finally, we tried the making of the construction support of initial response system in case of radiation disaster at disaster base hospital.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
近年になり、原子力災害医療を担う「原子力災害拠点病院」を対象とした教育研修が行われるようになったが、原子炉施設等の立地道府県等以外の県で放射線テロ等を含む放射線災害が発生した場合に初動を担うことが想定される「災害拠点病院」への系統的な教育研修及び体制整備は行われていない。本研究では、体制整備が立ち遅れている「災害拠点病院」の初動体制整備を促進することができる点で社会的意義がある。このプログラムを提供することで、各災害拠点病院の看護職者が放射線災害に関する知識を高め、放射線災害対応力の強化につながり、施設内の初動体制整備の実働を担うことが可能になる。
