Outline of Final Research Achievements

This research aims to develop a new incubator using artificial oxygen carriers to treat preterm infants. Using a rat model, we attempted to develop such incubator and also examined the safety of the incubator for fetal development.

この新しいタイプの次世代保育器を開発できれば、母体同様の子宮環境を人工的に提供することが可能となり、早産児の発達過程で高率に発生する肺機能低下および脳機能障害(ADHD・自閉症)を完全に予防し、満期産児と同じ発達「後遺症なき生存」が達成される。
