| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This research examined Buddhist statues along Sagami river. I examined 16 Buddhist statues, therefore I got the date and high definition images of these statues. The date obtained from these studies were published in the exhibition catalogue “Buddhist Statues Along Sagami River”at the Kanagawa Prefectural Museum of Cultural History in Autumn 2020.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
これまでほとんど注目されてこなかった相模川流域の仏像に注目した。特別展「相模川流域のみほとけ」を開催し、一般にも広く当該地域の彫刻についてアピールできた。当館がこれまで蓄積した彫刻調査ノートや画像を利用した。すでにある情報から調査対象の彫刻をリストアップすることで短い研究期間の時間短縮をはかるとともに情報が蓄積される地域の資料センターとしての博物館という調査手法を確立できた。
