Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study addressed the following three points. First, the same art classes were implemented in several types of special needs schools and art clubs, and the characteristics of learning through art and the teaching hypotheses for people with diverse conditions due to differences in disability types, etc., were structurally identified. Second, we developed and implemented an art-based exchange program that fosters psychologically intimate relationships in inclusive groups, and revealed that art-based exchanges enable sensory, emotional, and intuitive interactions. Third, in collaboration with Hiroshima Prefecture, the Hiroshima Prefectural Art Museum, and the Hiroshima Prefectural Art Support Center for People with Disabilities, we planned, developed, and conducted a survey of the conditions of art implementation, seminars, and workshops for people with disabilities.
