Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The aim of this research is to find a novel structure of small antenna which achieve both high performance and small size. The proposed structure is a helical antenna supported by Origami-like folding structure. We proposed and fabricated an antenna whose current distribution can approximate the theoretically optimal result. The antenna was fabricated by a wire conductor. We analyzed the proposed antenna when the folding mechanism is unfolded. The results were explained by the theory developed in this research and verified by numerical simulation and measurements.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
