Outline of Final Research Achievements

A homo-epitaxial selective growth method of diamond and arrangement of diamond particles by dielectrophresis were investigated.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

近年急速に発展しつつある量子コンピュータ開発において、室温で汎用量子ビットになりうるダイヤモンド中の窒素-空孔中心(NVセンタ)の研究が行われている。NVセンタを量子操作する際、互いの距離が10nm程度と非常に近い報告、別々の場所の量子テレポーテーションに関する報告はなされているものの、実用的な、数マイクロメートル程度の距離での量子通信技術は検討されていない。本研究では、その、中間的な距離範囲での量子ビット同士の量子通信・エンタングルメントが可能なプラットフォームとして、ダイヤモンドのオンチップの光回路の形成に関する技術を検討した。
