Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aimed to contribute to the efficient government support for damage to agricultural crops caused wildlife by 1) surveying the current status of municipal support and 2) constructing a residents’ damage prevention model. As a result, 1)-1 in most cases, municipalities that does not provide public awareness support to residents does not reduce agricultural damage.1)-2 conducted economic comparison between corral traps using ICT and traditional corral traps, the break-even point was shown 30 individuals. 2) as a result of analyzing the factors that residents’ reluctance to engage in damage preparedness behaviors, it was suggested that the reliability of the measures and the damage risk pointed out in the natural disaster preparedness behaviors, had a negative influence on the attitude to implement the measures.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
