Outline of Final Research Achievements |
An interview survey was conducted with 21 bereaved families with the aim of clarifying the Posttraumatic Growth (PTG) construct and its expression process in survivors who have lost a spouse to cancer. First, interviews were conducted with ten bereaved families, and the interview data were analyzed phenomenologically. In the course of the analysis, we found some characteristics in the results, and considering the possibility that the background of the bereaved family affected the characteristics. Then, we also recruited 11 new bereaved families with different backgrounds. Due to the spread of COVID-19, the analysis has been delayed along with the interview survey, and the analysis has been completed only for 19 participants.
