Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study was to develop family support guidelines to foster SOC for families with DMD patients. The results of the survey suggested the following four concepts as nursing practices oriented toward fostering SOC for families with DMD patients: [nursing related to family sense of Comprehensibility], [nursing related to family sense of Meaningfulness], [nursing related to family members' sense of Manageability], and [nursing related to family problem-solving skills]. We interviewed DMD patients, their families, and health care providers involved in their care, and began the development of family support guidelines to foster SOC for families with DMD patients.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
