| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The study examined whether the psychometric inventory of childrearing difficulties for evaluating child abuse risk (Terai, 2020) can be applied to pregnant mothers.
The data were collected in a web survey of pregnant mothers in Japanese countries.
Confirmatory factor analysis was performed on 322 expectant mothers. As a result of the analysis, χ2（523）＝1909.9、p＝.000、GFI＝.714、AGFI＝.674、CFI＝.729、TLI＝.710、RMSEA=.091.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
育児困難心性尺度は、乳幼児のいる親を対象にしていたが、今回の研究結果から妊娠期の母親にも適応できることが示唆された。このことによって、妊娠期の母親が育児困難に陥るリスクアセスメントの一助になり、また支援が必要な親を抽出し、援助職者が早期から支援を行うことで子ども虐待の一次予防に繋がると考えられる。
