Outline of Final Research Achievements |
To improve the quality of life of patients with comorbid cancer and dementia, it is essential to improve nurses' knowledge and attitudes leading to appropriate pain management. The purpose of this study was to develop a model of care regarding pain management to provide high-quality palliative care to elderly cancer patients with dementia. Due to the spread of covid-19, the study was changed from the original research plan, but a care model (tentative version) was developed, and the quality of end-of-life care was also examined from the aspect of pain.
