Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aims to develop and disseminate a sustainable database for effectively collecting and managing health-related information obtained by healthcare workers in regional health settings of emerging countries. This database will provide feedback for daily practices and supply necessary information for health policy. Due to the impact of Covid-19 from 2019 to 2022, the research plan was significantly altered. The study clarified the follow-up status and challenges of chronic disease patients in rural Thailand during the pandemic. Subsequently, a preliminary survey was conducted to identify gaps between the information reported by health volunteers and the information required by nurses, aiming to develop an efficient information-sharing system among key persons, including chronic disease patients. The survey suggested that nurses require a system equipped with detailed treatment management information and alert functions for abnormal values.
