Outline of Final Research Achievements |
When designing and manufacturing a partial denture, it is important to understand the characteristics of the tissues in the oral cavity and to maximize the function of the denture. However, the occlusal force applied to the denture varies depending on the state of tooth loss, the state of residual tissue, age, and sex. Therefore, in order to simulate the optimal denture design for individual patients, it is essential to set accurate analysis conditions that reflect the patient's biometric information. In this study, in order to simulate the optimal denture design for each patient, in the three-dimensional finite element method analysis, the patient biometric information such as CT data, research model, occlusal contact site, area, and occlusal force are applied as analysis conditions. This made it possible to construct an analysis system that reflects biological information.
