Outline of Final Research Achievements

We studied about the development of the microfabrication technique with a suspended carbon nanotube and the investigation of the quantum transport in the low-dimensional superconductor with a thin superconducting nanowire.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

ナノカーボン材料のみに依存した低次元量子物性探索は、カーボン系材料の持つ物性の枠を超えることはできないためいずれ限界を迎えることが問題であったが、超伝導ナノワイヤーによって、高品質ナノワイヤーを実現すること可能となり、次世代の量子デバイス開発に応用可能である。
