Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究課題は2018年10月に採択されて研究を開始し、当初は2021年3月に完了予定であったが、研究代表者が申請していた別の研究課題が2019年6月に基盤研究(S)で採択されたことを受け、廃止することとなった。
約9か月の研究期間内において、2018年11月には英国に渡航し、放射光施設Diamond Light Sourceにおいて、共同研究相手であるスイス連邦工科大学のPietro Gambardella教授のグループと共同でX線磁気円二色性および磁気線二色性を用いた顕微鏡観察の実験を行った。研究代表者の深見および分担者のKurenkov、同じく分担者のDuttaGuptaの作製した磁性ヘテロ積層膜からなる微細素子の反強磁性層のネールベクトルおよび強磁性層の磁化の電流に対する応答を観察し、これまでに電気的な測定で得られていた結果の理解につながる有用な知見が得られた。その後、得られた結果を画像処理などから解析するとともにマイクロマグネティックシミュレーションなどを行い、反強磁性/強磁性ヘテロ構造、及び反強磁性/非磁性ヘテロ構造においてスピン軌道トルクによって誘起されるドメインのダイナミクスに関する統一的な理解が得られた。
